One thing that we are extremely passionate about, is the ability for our players to be able to truly forge their own unique identity in The Aegis Effect. To that end, you will be able to completely customize every aspect of your character, from their height and weight, to their many various (and layerable) clothing attire, down to their individual skillsets, you will be in control! There are no preset "classes" in The Aegis Effect, but each character will have a host of skillsets available to them that they can both learn and improve as you play. Want to be a scout, a frontline melee fighter, an auto mechanic, or structural engineer? Simply play the game and do what it is that you want to do, your skills will improve through both use, and character education. (instruction manuals & various other learning materials will be available in the game for your character to study to further improve his trade)
This will not only allow you to truly create your own unique identity, but it will also allow you to play with your friends and afford each of you the ability to specialize in areas that hold the highest interest for you as a player and work together as a group to survive!
